Images of the Lakes and Watersheds We are Working to Protect.
Thousands of people each year enjoy being on and around Pennsylvania lakes and reservoirs. Water in Pennsylvania provides habitat for wildlife, swimming, fishing, boating, bird watching, and even serving as a drinking water source for towns and cities and irrigation water for farms throughout our state. Pennsylvania’s water is a precious resource that must be preserved and protected for the future. Join PALMS and support this mission!
PALMS would like to thank Barbara Lathrop for allowing us to feature her amazing photos on this gallery page and throughout our site. Ms. Lathrop is a biologist with PA Department of Environmental Protection - Clean Lakes Program. She has been an active member of PALMS for many years. Ms. Lathrop is also the grant advisor to our 2009 Growing Greener grant.
